From the Director...

November 2009

Dear Friend,

God blessed us with a wonderful year! Souls were saved and believers were drawn closer to the Lord. More Canadian churches participated in our program and many Maritimers volunteered their time to work on our new building or help with the camps and retreats. The words "thank you" seem inadequate compared to their commitment to serve the Lord and this ministry in 2009.

Many of you know that for the past several months we have been constructing a new chapel that will serve us well not only during the summer months, but especially when it is cold. This month during our Ladies Retreat, 73 ladies enjoyed this warm meeting room. Though not completely finished, it provided a pleasant location for their services and fellowship. A special thanks to those men who worked many hours to make the chapel functional. Unfortunately, projects sometimes cost more than anticipated. The balance needed for Phase Two (the work recently completed) is $5500. Lordwilling, by next spring we will begin Phase Three - completion of the meeting room and the cabin addition on the main level. We greatly appreciate those Maritime churches and other individuals who have given sacrificially towards this project.

Our next event is the Teen Winter Retreat with special guests from The Wilds Christian Camp and Bethany Baptist Church of Brevard, NC. They will sing, preach, counsel, provide skits and games, and lots of laughs. Sign up today!

Thanks so much for your prayers and support.

Sincerely,

Jeff Reason
